Dragonette, the three-piece band from Toronto, released arguably the best electropop album of 2009, Fixin to Thrill. The sophomore effort, which was a synth transformation from the relatively guitar-centric debut album Galore, is dripping with the sex appeal and apathetic cool that most bands try to emulate, but few can pull off.
One of the highlights of the album, “Easy,” has been given the music video treatment, and here we have the focus entirely on the charismatic and sultry frontwoman, Martina Sorbara, whose moody vocals steer the song on a tide of ascending synths.
