PDX Pop Now is the premier music festival of Portland (sorry, MFNW). There, I said it. What else could you want? It offers the best of local Portland bands, it takes place right in the middle of summer, it's mostly outdoors, and it's all-ages (but you can drink in the Rotture if you need a lil summer thirst quencher). Oh yeah, it also will cost you nothing. Jack. Squat. Every year, not only do they put together a festival, but they also release a compilation album celebrating some of the best of Portland's music.
